A desert zone, some foreign land
Things got a little out of hand
The sergeant took a sleeping pill
And left the troops with time to kill

They went into the testing zone
And there it was, all alone
The infamous red button
Peer pressure got the best of them
They gathered round and then they slammed
this trigger of destruction

What followed then, a massive bang
A light so bright, it blinded them
A nuclear blast across the sand
Set fire to this withered land

The soldiers started to regret
And panic got the best of them
The fire squad was waiting
How could they have been so dumb?
